Jou'nar

"Hatred, Cowardice and Falsehood was what surrounded that poor soul when he left us, I know not what caused him to abandon the Virtues he once respected."

-a paladin of Trinsic.

Jou'nar was a paladin of Trinsic, until he fell from the path of Virtue and began to terrorise countryside with help of two trolls and their minions. After it was revealed he was behind the attacks he was chased down to the town of Ocllo. It was there where he met his fate at hands of an angry mob of Britannians. For safekeeping, his body was transferred to Trinsic to be buried by the local Paladins. However after few months his body was mystically stolen, and it's fate remained mystery until the days of Trinsic siege.

Apparently the dark sorceress Minax, who also had been rumoured to be a student of Mondain, raised Jou'nar from the grave as a powerful lich. If Jou'nar was not mad when he was living, he certainly became mad and hateful as an undead. Under his Mistress' rule he conquered Trinsic with his undead army after a long siege. Trinsic was completely barricaded and fortified by the undead. But it was not enough; the town was corrupted with a gigantic altar/pillar that was made of dark stone. It's shadow could be seen anywhere from the town.

Jou'nar did not lead all the attacks himself, instead he was known to get help from a young sorceress named Malabelle, who was also one of the Minax's servants. It was later discovered that she was fooled to help Minax's cause by letting her to believe that Lord British was responsible of her lover's, Tyball's, disappearance.

After Trinsic was taken over, Jou'nar decided to play safe and get rid of Malabelle before she could figure out the truth. With help of presumably Keeonean and gazers, she was captured and imprisoned to a cave near Minoc. However, before Jou'nar could decide her fate, valiant Sir Dupre with a group adventurers managed to rescue Malabelle and gain access to the Moonkey that Malabelle was still holding.

This set forward Jou'nars downfall. After gaining the Moonkey, Sir Dupre lead an army to take over Trinsic and to slay all undead within. The battle was merciless, but with never before seen number of volunteers, Sir Dupre's army was victorious.

Jou'nar made his last stand on the roof of the dark temple, and it was there where his undead form was slayed. The resting place of his body is at the moment unclear, but it is a general believe that it was torn to pieces by the army and thrown to the river near Trinsic.
