The Major Factions of The Felucca War

When Minax invaded Lord British's realm (land we know as Felucca facet now), she started a rift, both among her followers, and among the followers of Lord British. Both sides split into two different groups, with different ideals, and war ensued among all four sides.

The rebellion began in Moonglow, where the council of Mages decided that Lord British was no longer fit to rule Britannia. He'd not only failed to protect his lands from invading forces hordes, but many of his own people had abandoned him and fled to the side of Minax. When Lord British and Nystul created Trammel facet without consulting the Council of Mages it broke even a deeper grunge between the Court and the Council. The final reason of the rebellion was the doubt cast by a stranger (suspected to had been Relvo) stating that Nystul had been warned of the dangers, such as the collapse of nature on Felucca, before casting the spell that created Trammel.

British's loyal followers tried to crush the rumours quickly that Moonglow was planning on seceding from the throne's gasp, but this only furthered the Council's cause, making those who died or were jailed martyrs for the cause of the mages. The council of Mages now believed that what Britannia needed was a new leader, one who could not only lead Britannia against Minax, but who could also keep peace once it is restored. They begun preparations to do something drastic; call forth the stranger who slayed Mondain.

Though the council of Mages had never actually prepared to do this before, they had prepared many notes and items about the Stranger as the keepers of the arcane knowledge. Because of this, many of the Council members do believe calling back the Stranger would be possible to do.

Meanwhile, Minax had something of a rebellion herself occuring. Strangely enough, from within her own rank and file, there were those who were calling for the beings only know as the Shadowlords to be released from the Abyss to take their rightful place as rulers of the Felucca facet. This strike towards Minax was lead by a man named Relvo, who remined as mysterious inspirator for this cult. While Minax's minions were grateful to her for allowing them the opporturnity to strike terror at Lord British, they felt she was only useful as magical tool, and was not powerful enough to lead them against Lord British for extended period of time. "Only the Shadowlords would be strong enough to lead us", was Relvo's argument, and he managed to convince a good amount of people to follow his cause.

This caused Minax's minions to be split amongst those who would follow her, and those who wish to see her dethroned.

The result was four different factions, all in a constant state of war battling for the lands of Felucca.
