The story of the mysterious fishing nets
by
Leia

The rumors are true!

Earlier this fine sunny day I set to sea with my little bamboo raft to catch me a meal and perhaps find some secrets to treasures. As I sailed near the Fire Isle, I cast my pole into the sea only to be nearly pulled overboard by what was obviously a serpent at the other end of the line. Being an experienced fisher, I had no trouble to wrangle the beast to the deck of my ship. However, I was to discover something new and exciting! I had heard stories on the docks of fellow sea farers finding strange nets on the waters. After examining the corpse of this particularly dark and slimy serpent, I discovered the rumor to be absolutely true. A moss covered green fishing net was to be found within the bowels of the beast. I have drawn a crude picture of this treasure so that the discovery can be properly documented. I hope the message reaches shore safely, as my parrot is weary, and hungry! The rumors that I hear are that these nets are magical, and are strong enough to pull up horrible beasts! Deep Sea Serpents with fire that burns like dragon breath, and even some Kraken like creature. But we sea folk have a way with drink and the sea and tales, so I can only confirm the stories of the odd nets to be true. I fear I must gather some assistance before I dare to cast this moss covered thing back into the sea.
