It seems Wombat Games, which is mostly of people who left Ultima Online Development team about the time when T2A hit the stores, has finally reliesed a information about their coming Massive Multiplayer Game: Dark Zion.
I must say I like the consept. However unfortunately the game still lacks a publisher, and the nature of the game might change if a future publisher demands so (so I figure at least). Let us hope the publisher is not Sierra, which fired all people from the creative Middle-Earth project.

Here is an email from Markee Dragon. I do not know if Blackthorn's side is evil or Lord Britishes' good, but here is the Markee's email:
Today we enter into a new era. The epic battle between Lord British and
Lord Blackthorn is coming to a climax. Many have fallen in this, the
largest and longest war in the history of all Sosaria. Who knows if this
war will ever end.
"They had agreed to disagree, British and Blackthorn. In a day that hung
heavy with portents and fate, it was decided. Blackthorn, once one of Lord
British's most trusted friends, gave much concern to the Virtue Guard that
Lord British had created to bring Order to the land. Order was necessary
yes; but not at the expense of the free will that blessed all mankind.
Blackthorn knew he risked his Lords' wrath in expressing his thoughts. Lord
British was indignant, stubbornly holding that Virtue was not simply the
right way to live, but the only way. Did not the Time Lord himself order it
done? But balance was needed and balance was what Blackthorn had hoped to
create with his Chaos Knights. Surely when British saw what he had done, the
willful Lord would have no choice but to realize his error in enforcing the
Virtues to such an extreme. The two men were black and white in their
beliefs: to them, there was no gray. In his heart, Lord Blackthorn knew he
did not have the answer, either..."
