It seems all that could go wrong with housing on USA shards, did. Servers were totally over crowded, you couldn't log in if you had not done so few hours early and about allbig housing spots were taken in first 15 minutes.
This is what we all feared it would be and it came true. However there is some hope of better placement for Europian shards. Tyrant/Gordon Walton informed in FYI that they would be reconsidering the housing plan for the rest of the shards and apologied how poor the housing had went. So we know for a fact it went badly as the players and Origin have both told this...
Would letting the existing housers to choose which facet they want their house to be so bad idea after all?
Let us hope the best for the Europian shards.

For a short time (very short) I imagined Photek had gone honest or died more or less (probably less) natural way. But no, there this Brigand is again robbing people... Of course this Brigand is no challenge to most famous Videric Gaveston, so ladies there is nay reason to fear when I am around.

As many of you know Origin/EA has opened web-pages for Europian clients at http://www.uo-europe.com/. Also it seems that new staff, specially for Europian shards has been hired. So now we have our own Calandryll, and her name is Cordicat. This all sounds very good for the future of Europian shards.
Any information about Rilla the Gypsy is welcomed by the way, I intend to add her on the historical characters page with Jacob the druid who is there already (anyone seen him lately by the way?).

And I used to think that major bugs had been killed and put 6ft under, but then one has to appear and screw everything. That's right; a new dupe bug. And yes, this one does work. The simplicity of the bug is shocking. Anyone with the right stuff and items can do it.
Check Ebay'sUltima Online section and take a look at all the posts for millions of gold. People are selling up to 4 million gold. The number of these posts have sky-rocketed in the past 2 weeks. As far as I know, there's only one site that has published the bug, but fortunately, the site isn't well known.
But one thing is for sure; the economy is screwed up again. The millions of gold will inflate the prices and mess up the ingame economy. But rumors are spreading that with the next patch OSI will but a some sort of a tracking code to catch dupers.

Stratics hosted UWO:O chat on late night of Wednesday and I happened to be there. I must say the fellows of Devteam are dedicated to the plot, it seems the world of UWO:O is coming together with truely rich background. But of course this all remines to be seen.
